Having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a First Class Honours Degree in Embroidery in 2009, Holly now works as a surface pattern designer based in Manchester.

Holly has a dynamic approach to her work and combines her passion for drawing and colour with her growing enthusiasm for computer graphics to produce a versatile and exciting design portfolio. To satisfy her love for both the hand-drawn line and a graphic aesthetic, Holly draws inspiration from subjects as wide ranging as flora and fauna to architecture and the urban environment to create diverse collections.

Although focused on her surface pattern and print design, Holly's knowledge and love of embroidery and textiles is a strong influence. Her skills in surface decoration and embellishment give an added dimension to her practice.
